Be "Cool" over Summer in the Australian National Botanic Gardens!

Capital Nordic Walking is a proud partner of the ANBG Wellness in the Gardens program.  On Tuesday mornings at 10.00am and Saturdays between 8.30am (in Summer) and 9.00 the rest of the year - groups of Nordic Walkers get together to do a few laps of the stunning 2.6 circuit service road - uninterrupted by cyclists.  Some Nordic Walkers love the peace and cool of the Rain forest garden. The ANBG has a fantastic Summer program of events and activities that are not to be missed  - such as the Butterflies in the Gardens with local expert, Dr. Suzi Bond, to see and hear about butterflies and the plants they like. It is an easy walk - or the Australian Wildlife Art Exhibition and the ever-popular Summer Sounds starting 18th January: Relax into summer with a three-weekend program featuring some of the best bands in the nation’s capital. Concerts are on the Eucalypt Lawn at the Gardens in Clunies Ross Street, Acton, on the lower slopes of Black Mountain. All concerts start at 5:30 pm and finish at 7.30. Bring a picnic or enjoy food and drinks for sale on site. For more information about these and more - check out their latest Newsletter here
