Join Capital Nordic Walking in supporting Nathan Nguyen's mission to raise awareness and funds for stroke and brain injury in young adults. Nathan will soon start his Nordic Walking Proficiency Course with us - look out for him on the paths! THE AIM:  Nathan is raising awareness for brain injury and stroke in young adults by undertaking the challenge of tackling 5 mountains in Canberra during National Stroke Week (2-8 Sept). Parkinson’s ACT is excited to announce its biennial fund-raising event to be held  on Sunday 20th October at Rond Terrace, on the edge of beautiful Lake Burley Griffin.  This year we are expanding the activities that families, friends and colleagues can participate in to help raise funds for support services for people in our community living with Parkinson’s and their families. In keeping with this year’s theme “Keep Moving”, PACT is hosting a 5km race that participants can run, walk or Nordic Walk.  This will be the first ever officially timed Nordic Walking race in Australia.  Who will you walk...
